Human resources analytics: A legitimacy process

چکیده

Taking a grounded theory approach, this paper explores human resources (HR) Analytics legitimacy in three organisations over period of 3 years. The research aims to investigate (i) how the HR process presents and develops (ii) what decisions, activities, events can shape organisations. We draw on institutional industry creation literatures understand constitutes through three-dimensional perspective: cognitive, socio-political, technological. A lens as an analytical tool allowed for mapping order isolate key individual time. Three related, non-linear sub-processes legitimation are identified, namely, strategic commitment, data infrastructure decision, focus projects addition number delaying, enabling, accelerating elements that influence process.
